At first, I was hesitant about 2.5 hrs at the dinosaur museum, but between the exhibits themselves, hike rout, viewpoint and lunch there’s actually a lot to do. I really wanted to hike in the hoodoos and enjoy the Royal Tyrell museum, but the tour concentrate on diverse other touristy attractions (like the tiny church, the giant dinosaur or a view from a parking lot on the horseshoe canyon) I think those can be viewed in few minutes and are not really interesting.
